Food Styling With a Pro
We take a trip back in time to make a crazy dish from the 1950's discussing what it takes to create food for the big screen.
We're in the kitchen with food stylist Elizabeth Grove to chop it up about her career working in film and television, food history, food styling techniques and much more.
Elizabeth Grove is known for her work as a food stylist on many projects including The Goldbergs, The Lizzie Borden Story, Beyoncé's Lemonade Tour, First Man and more.
She's a trained chef that began working in fine dining before transitioning into production catering. From there she made her move into food styling and has worked in Los Angeles, Louisiana and Georgia on a variety of projects.
Through her work on many period pieces she's developed a love for food history and the different techniques and ingredients required to make dishes true to different time periods.
Watch our interview with Elizabeth where we go in-depth about all things food styling while preparing a 1950's cream cheese loaf.
